Storage
- OneDrive (yours, shared or both), SharePoint (a site, one library or all of them) and Teams, including the Education flavour
- Google Drive and Google Workspace shared drives
- Amazon S3 and anything S3-compatible, Azure Blob Storage, and Backblaze B2 through its S3 interface (you’ll need an application key, not the master key)
- Box, Dropbox
- SMB / CIFS file servers, with the option to read and enforce your NTFS permissions
- The Edge agent: a small Windows or Linux program beside a file server that connects out to Foldr, so you open no inbound ports. It’s how a file server behind your firewall joins Foldr Cloud, and it has no licence key and no plan of its own
- WebDAV, FTP / SFTP
- Group Drives (browse a group’s personal storage in each person’s own context) and shortcut folders (Foldr’s Pointer Containers: a folder of shortcuts to other shares)
- Foldr Storage (Foldr Cloud): storage we host, with version history, for trials and evaluation. Every trial starts with a 10 GB share already set up
- Your storage can still say no: on SMB a signed-in person opens the share with their own credentials, a share can also filter every file by its ACLs, and a link only ever carries what its creator could see
- On Foldr Cloud a server needs a public address or the Edge agent; on an appliance Foldr reaches whatever your appliance can
- Connect and disconnect in minutes; your files stay where they are (unless you chose to keep them in Foldr Storage, and you can copy those out first)
