Foldr mounts OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams as a real drive on staff Macs and Windows machines. No OneDrive sync client, no “online only” placeholders, no Mac sync horror stories. Office and classroom apps save back the way they always did, and staff on A1 or A1 Plus get the same files in Office for the web straight from the drive. Same drive carries Google Drive, Dropbox, on-prem SMB shares and the rest of your storage too. And staff on a Microsoft 365 A1 licence can open and edit Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents in the browser through Foldr Bureau (beta), with nothing leaving your storage.
Share a folder with the class group, set a deadline, walk away. When a student uploads, Foldr auto-creates their named subfolder. Tutors see the whole class at a glance; students see their own work and nobody else’s. Need to give one student an extension? Override their deadline alone. Set the deadline as soft, hard, or final depending on how strict you need to be.
On Enterprise, Captur can take paper hand-ins back in too: scanned pages dropped into the share and read like any other document.
Share governor packs through Folio: governors sign in, see only what’s on the agenda, download the latest version. When you replace the agenda the morning of the meeting, the governors see the new one. No more “please disregard my last email”.
Reports, consent forms, prospectus packs. Share with parents through Folio so the school controls who sees what (no public-internet drift), or via password-protected public links for less sensitive material.
Drop an iframe pointing at a Foldr folder onto the school’s website. Update the policy in Foldr; the website reflects the new version immediately. Useful for safeguarding policies, exam timetables, anything that changes more often than the website itself does.
Give a folder its own email address. Whatever’s sent to it lands in the folder, sender details intact, attachments saved, email signatures optionally stripped. Useful for permission-slip return paths and external supplier submissions.
